Spring Transformation
Those of us who live in northern regions that are still experiencing snow will use any excuse to day dream about summer and for the rest of us, Daylight Savings is a welcome reminder that spring is not far off. Most people would rather plan the fun details of their summer vacations then think about the annual ritual (or annual nonobservance) that is spring cleaning. Regardless of if your definition of spring cleaning is through enough to include cleaning behind your refrigerator or limited to opening a window for fresh air on the first warm day of the season, chances are that you at least do something. This year make your spring cleaning process fun and use it as an excuse to revamp your living space! Smart Furniture has introduced great new items to help make getting organized more enjoyable, not to mention stylish. If gaining a fresh new look was not enough motivation to get you started, would it help if I told you that to really kick things off in style we are hosting a Spring Transformations sale?

Get It Together
It's quite easy to accumulate items in a relatively short period of time, so finding specific places to keep things organized can help you create a managed, efficient space. Only keep what you'll really need for future use, and avoid piling up and holding on to unnecessary items which take up valuable real estate.
Take a look at a few of these space-saving organization pieces:

Big Ideas for Small Spaces
Choosing to invest between the furniture you want and the furniture that actually fits into your space can be a difficult decision to make. With these elegant, space-saving solutions, now you don't have to!

The 3-pc table set pictured above features two nesting side tables which are easily stored within the coffee table itself, giving you the option to keep things compact or extend your tabletop space when the need arises. Below, the same idea is revisited with a stylish square glass coffee table, accommodating the matching cube ottoman stools (sold separately) which provide additional seating and can be kept when not in use.

Not in the mood for another bulky end table? Take your pick from these functional accent tables with adjustable heights and smaller footprints, either in a classy espresso finish or an outspoken colored glass tabletop.

Comfortably seat 4 or add the leaf expansion to accommodate up to 8 with this counter-height dining table.

With a truly versatile design, two expansion leaves allow this dining table to seat up to 6 while having the option of turning into a console table by removing both leaves.

With all of these adaptable and flexible options, there's no reason to let your space hold you back. To browse through more of our exciting new products, visit SmartFurniture.com.
Organized = Maximized
Getting a foothold on organizing your home office and getting rid of the clutter can feel like a daunting task at first, but don't get discouraged because it's really easier than you think. You'd be surprised at how a few simple changes can transform your space.
Figure out where the clutter is coming from. The culprit can be anything from unread magazine subscriptions and newspapers to old items you accumulate and forget about over time. Find a solution to quickly identify and avoid them altogether.
Purge items that you have no further use for. The challenge is to make sure you don't get rid of things you may use in the future while making a good judgment call on what should go, so be diligent in how you sort your items.
Find efficient shelving and storage options for the items you do keep. Modular shelving allows you to create a customized solution depending on the amount of space you have.
Organize and label similar items so you can store them together. You'll be able to find things quickly if you have them in a centralized location.
Today's busy lifestyles can make it hard to keep up with organizing your workspace, but you will reap the benefits by making a habit to stay on top of it.
