Day 11 Winner of the Eames Giveaway
A landmark design from Charles and Ray Eames, the molded plastic chairs consist of clean, simple forms sculpted to cradle the body. The Eameses adapted molding techniques developed during World War II to produce this classic design - the first industrially manufactured plastic chairs.
Today's chairs are true to the originals, with updated, eco-friendly materials. Their enduring forms and quality construction make them comfortable, durable performers.

Winner! Day 3 of Eames Giveaway
Our congratulations to Brett Manfrey. He is the lucky winner of the Eames Elephant! Charles and Ray Eames were fascinated by elephants. Many images of these gentle giants are found in Charles' photographic documentations of Indian culture and the circus world. The Eames Elephant was designed as a toy for children, but also as a striking sculptural object that makes a statement in any environment with its vigorous curves and delightful character. There is a playful charm in the way that the Eames' used juvenile motifs to create a vibrant, cheerful idiom that appeals to adults as well as children. Please send us a picture of yourself with this wonderful, playful piece, Brett. We'd love to see where you place it in your home. Remember: enter once per day, folks - you'll have a chance to win any prize from the remaining days of the giveaway!
